Ultrasonic Facials turbo charge a Facial by delivering focused ultrasonic energy through the layers of the Facial tissues

This can include either or both of the following:

Ultrasonic Cleansing
After an initial cleanse the face is spritzed with a natural hydrasol then an ultrasonic spatula is moved across the surface of the skin for a gentle yet deep cleanse of the pores. 

This method cleans the skin much more effectively and deeply than any other method available.  The ultrasound is capable of clearing cellular debris and oxidised waste from the skin.  This improves and brightens the complexion and prevents the repeat appearance of blemishes in the same old spots. 

Highly recommended for all skins but especially anyone prone to acne or who would like clearer skin.

Sonophoresis
This is the use of low frequency, ultra sonic sound waves for the following:

- A more effective infusion of active ingredients such as vitamins and hyaluronic acid into the skin.   The Ultrasound is capable of pushing molecules that would not normally be able to pass the skins barrier deeper into the lower layers of the skin.  Penetration is increased by 1000-4000 times.

- Collagen production.  The ultrasound heats up the tissues without disturbing the surface of the skin. Deeper down in the dermal layer the fibroblast cells are stimulated to produce more collagen.  This is the ultimate goal of an anti ageing facial.  Over time and with repeated treatments there is a remodelling of the dermal layer and subsequently a firming of the skin and a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.

- A micro massage of the skin with the Ultrasonic vibrations which improves the health and condition of the skin and encourages the repair of damaged cells.

Ultrasound is an incredibly powerful and yet gentle method of skin rejuvenation.  It can effect the dermal layer without damaging the stratum corneum, the outer layer of our skin. 

Ultrasound can be layered into a Bespoke Holistic Facial along with any of the other Electrical Facial Therapies depending on the Treatment Time and goal of the Treatment.
