OM Rosacea has been formulated for the care of sensitive facial skin.  Often high dosages of lipids are required for sensitive and compromised skin to help heal disordered skin barriers.  For Rosacea, lipid-rich skin care products can be counterproductive but OM Rosacea possesses maximal lipid content without this disadvantage.    Working on a seal and heal approach OM Rosacea strengthens the upper layers of the skin so that less can get in to the skin from the outside to irritate and inflame.  It also lowers the rate of TEWL (trans epidermal water loss) helping to keep skin soft and supple.
GLA's in OM Rosacea help treat Rosacea by reducing inflammation and by producing prostaglandins which stimulate the contraction of blood vessels, thus reducing redness.
