Evening Primrose Oil is rich in gamma-linolenic acid (Omega 6)which has been well researched and proven to have a favourable effect on a number of skin conditions.  These include dry skin, blemished skin and chronic, itching eczema, inflammation and wound healing. In some countries it is registered as a medicine.  Omega 6 provides hydration by helping to balance the flow of fatty acids in and out of the cell membrane.  If you think of the skin cells as the skin building blocks it's easy to see that the skin can only be as healthy as it's cells and Evening Primrose will help to keep the cells healthy.
It also increases the cells ability to absorb oxygen and to remain healthy.
